Porextherm – in Kempten

Since the foundation of the company in the year 1989 in Waltenhofen near Kempten, Porextherm has continuously developed its insulation material business.

Apart from the organic growth of the existing business, acquisitions also contributed to the fact that the company became one of the world-wide leading suppliers of microporous insulations.

The two large product lines WDS® and Vacupor® are manufactured today in a central, state-of-the-art, high capacity production facility in Kempten-Leubas. This enables a qualitatively high-value and rapid supply to our customers world-wide.

The Porextherm headquarter and production are located in the Heisinger Str. 8 in the industrial area of Kempten-Leubas and were built in the year 1999.
