WDS® PROTECTION G-PLUS - Component A+B

Porextherm has developed a totally new coating for its microporous thermal insulations. With WDS® Protection G-Plus, the user is in a position to considerably improve protection of the rather fragile surface of the WDS® products against mechanical influences.

The abrasion resistance of the material system is greatly increased. Therefore WDS® Protection G-Plus allows for the implementation of highly efficient microporous materials in application areas formerly not possible.
Beyond that, the coating also allows for a good grounding for continuative organic coatings (for ex. silicone) or bonding the WDS® panels with other construction elements.

WDS® Protection G-Plus is a patent-protected, 2-component inorganic coating, consisting of layered silicates, water and inorganic binders, as well as < 5% of an organic additive.

The high thermal endurance of the coating up to 1100°C covers the whole spectrum of application temperature boundaries of our WDS. The fact that the system’s surface structure remains free of cracks even after various temperature cycles also convinces critical users.

Easy handling allows each user to achieve the best result quickly. Each user can apply the technique which is best for him/her due to the possibilities of applying the coating through spraying, rolling or painting.

WDS® Protection G-Plus is available immediately. Of course we can also offer you our range of WDS® products in coated form.
